Grasshopper Surfboards is my way of creating. Every person needs an artistic outlet and this is mine. I do not make surfboards for a living. I make surfboards to enjoy the ocean. I make thrusters, single fins, fishes, bonzers, logs, eggs, quads, twinnies. I make modern, traditional, and experimental surfboards. There is a special feeling that you get when you ride a wave – and that feeling is enhanced when you are riding a craft that you have a hand in. So I insist that everyone who gets a surfboard from me must help the process in some way - design or shape or artwork - wherever their talents lie.
